At HELLO KTTN, we are proud to be among the first British Shorthair breeders in Australia working with the rare Dominant Blue Eye (DBE) gene.

This remarkable genetic trait produces striking blue eyes—sometimes paired with a second copper or amber eye—creating the captivating odd-eyed appearance admired around the world. Unlike traditional blue eyes seen only in pointed cats, the DBE gene allows brilliant blue eyes to appear across a wide range of beautiful coat colours.

Among our DBE cats are our wonder-boy GARY and Hello Kttn Cinderella, the first Dominant Blue Eye British Shorthair queen bred in Australia—both displaying the extraordinary combination of one sapphire-blue eye and one copper eye.

Our DBE program is developed with a strong focus on health, temperament and responsible breeding, alongside the exceptional beauty and individuality of these very special cats.
